On table one, Ionel Serbu just made a small faux-pas. Holding three deuces on a A-x-2-2-x board, he’d been checked to and decided to showdown his hand, literally, as he flipped up his holding of 2-4.
However, he hadn’t noticed there was a third player, Collette Manly, in position and she happily now elected to throw her hand away, later revealing she had an ace! There could have been trouble in store if she’d had the opportunity to bet.
Instead she got off lightly and was all smiles and rainbows as you’d expect…
All three remain close to their 30k starting stack. No big deal at this stage, it’s early days and the pot was small but later on, this could be costly. Keep your eyes on the prize guys! 👀
