Georg Ibrahim opened to 500, and was met with a three-bet to 1,800 from Javier Francort on the button. Raphael Verdugo cold-called in the small blind and Ibrahim also came along for the flop.
Action was checked to Francort, who fired out a bet of 3,000. Verdugo called and Ibrahim folded.
The hit on the turn, and Francort continued with the aggression, sliding out a bet of 6,000. Verdugo again quickly called.
The river seemed relatively innocuous, but led to both players checking, Verdugo saying “You have a set of aces?”. Francort did indeed table for a set of rockets, and Verdugo tapped the table and showed for a set of sevens before mucking his hand.
