The €200 Irish Open Deaf Championship continues today with the latter of two starting days scheduled for the debut event.
Day 1a propelled Sabahudin Jusic and Starny Hoang into the next stage after they’d navigated their stacks through the 13-entrant field.
Friday’s session will also play down to the top 15% of the flight’s initial field. That way players who reach the Saturday finale will return in the money.
The path to the pedestal begins with a 30,000-starting stack and the blinds at 100/200. Blind levels will increase every half hour, leaving a decent maneuvering room for all competitors.
Those who busted yesterday are allowed to re-join action; two entries are permitted per each flight. That means players such as Friend of the Irish Open Darren Chow can take another shot at the title.
Come back here for live updates from Day 1b as the Irish Open continues its search for the first-ever Deaf Championship winner.
