After another 10 hours of play, we are two starting flights down. Today’s chip leader is very, very definitely Sandro Pitzanti, who has previously won a WPT Deepstacks main event in Malta, and finished second in a €1k event at the PartyPoker Millions in Rozvadov. He finishes up on 475,000 – pretty much double the stack of anyone else who played today or yesterday.
A total of 461 players entered today, of whom 158 have made it through to Saturday’s Day 2. Full chip counts will magically appear in the “Live Data” tab shortly.
Meanwhile, we have another two starting flights tomorrow – Day 1c at noon with the same old boring 60 minute levels, and then the soooper-fun turbo format Day 1d starting at 10pm, when absolutely everyone is likely to be stone cold sober, yes sirree. There’ll also be a variety of sats to Day 1d running throughout the day, as well as a €150 NLH Deepstack event. The bar will be open throughout. Good luck, boys and girls.
