Lose your stack, lose your shot at a share of nearly €4.5 million
After five flights absorbing 4,548 entries’ worth of buy-ins, the 1,393 remaining players in the PokerStars and Paddy Power Poker-sponsored Irish Open 2025 Main Event now know the prize pool that lurks at the deep end: €4,447,950.
€2.5 million sounded like a lot; this sounds like an Irish Open record (and it is).
The huge Day 2 field is scheduled to play nine 60-minute levels, but the astounding turnout may lead to a later night (there are only three full days left of the festival). The prize breakdown has yet to be announced (as of 11:30am) but all will be revealed here on PokerNews along with the key action from noon.
