The luxurious 4* Herbert Park is definitely the place to stay for the Irish Open but it usually fills up very rapidly. Players have a great opportunity right now however, as we’ve managed to secure some extra rooms at our special discount rate.
Player numbers are exploding this year which is putting even more pressure on properties close to the RDS venue. And the Herbert Park, which is just a stone’s throw from the RDS, is always a player favourite.
All you have to do to book is type IPOKER2026 in the “Have a code?” field when booking on the Herbert Park website. That will get you a double room for as little as €230 a night, with top-notch breakfast included.
These rooms will certainly be snapped up so immediate booking is advised – the cut-off date for the offer is February 7. You can also book by calling the Herbert Park on + 353 (1) 667 2200.
Outside of the special promo code, rooms at the Herbert Park are now selling at almost triple our rate on some nights. Book now and you’ll be saving yourself a massive headache as well as saving some money!
Please note that, over the Easter weekend, a minimum booking of four nights is required to use the promo code. If the Herbert Park is showing as sold out when you try to book, please contact the hotel to be placed on a reserve list.
The Herbert Park boasts a ton of amenities that are tailor-made for poker players. The rooms are roomy and spacious and enjoy high speed wi-fi, TV and superb blackout curtains. There’s also a Nespresso coffee-maker in every room if you need a bit of oomph to get you back into the tournament room!
The hotel boasts a well-equipped gym open 24/7 and also overlooks the gorgeous 48-acre Herbert Park – perfect for a stroll or run before the day’s poker action commences. Food-wise, there are also several good options at the Herbert Park and it’s near enough that you can nip back there for supper or even a nap during the dinner break.
The Pavilion Restaurant is open daily from 5:30pm to 9:15pm but, if you miss that, the lounge in the hotel’s lobby serves excellent light meals and snacks until 9:45 pm; room service runs around the clock and the bar is also open pretty much all night.
If you miss out on the Herbert Park, then do check out our other recommendations close to the venue on our Hotels page.
