Irish Open satellites are now live on PokerStars with at least 23 entries to April’s Main Event guaranteed every single week. The PokerStars schedule is one of the biggest satellite programmes that the site has ever run and guarantees that hundreds of players will win seats – or full prize packages – to the event.
The Irish Open is the longest-running No Limit Hold’em event in the world outside of Vegas, and is taking place this year from April 3-10 at the historic Royal Dublin Society.
Four direct satellites are being offered each week to the €1 million guaranteed Irish Open Main Event – with a buy-in of €109. Players can buy straight into these qualifiers or work their way up through feeder satellites, including freebuy satellites which are totally free to enter, micro stakes rebuys (€0.11) and add-ons after the first bullet.
The following direct satellites are running every week on the .COM client:
- Monday x5 Seat Only GTD
- Wednesday x5 Seat + Expenses GTD
- Friday x5 Seat Only GTD
- Sunday x8 Seat + Expenses GTD
Satellites for the €1,150 buy-in Irish Open Main Event will be running throughout February and March and on Sunday, March 19, there will be a Mega satellite with 20x Seats + Expenses guaranteed.
As the event draws nearer, PokerStars plans to ramp up the schedule even more with bigger guarantees.
