In the last hand of the previous level, Maximilian Sanders opened to 16,000 in the hijack and Tobias Peters jammed in the cutoff. Once it folded to Sanders he asked for a count and called when it was deemed to be for 138,000.
“Good luck buddy,” Sanders said when the flip versus came to life.
The flop left Peters in desperate shape with just one immediate out. On the turn, his outs increased to two but the river sent Peters to the rail.
