Paddy Power has embarked on a jam-packed schedule of online satellites for next year’s €2.5 million guaranteed Irish Open Main Event, giving players the chance to qualify online for as little as NOTHING AT ALL!
Nobody does cheeky value quite like Paddy Power. The site’s freerolls and micro-buy-in satellites give recreational players a genuine shot at Europe’s most iconic poker festival.
Paddy Power, Ireland’s leading online gaming company and one of the headline sponsors of the Irish Open, is running numerous satellites in the build-up to 2026. The twice-daily freerolls and daily €1 feeder satellites will put players in the running for a ticket into the monthly €100 qualifiers which will guarantee three seats apiece.
The next €100 qualifier takes place on November 30.
The €50 seat-only qualifiers will be running five times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) with a mix of re-entry tournaments and re-buy/add-on events. And, if you’re set on winning a €2,250 package, you’ll have bucket-loads of chances thanks to a two-step qualification path starting with daily €150 “Day 1” flights. The Day 1s will award tickets into the weekly qualifiers taking place every Sunday with five €2,250 packages guaranteed. There are no direct buy-ins for the Day 2 – you must win your way into the Sunday events via the Day 1 qualifiers. Heaps of feeder satellites – into both the seat-only and package qualifiers – will be on offer every day.
There will also be a ton of satellites for the Mini Irish Open. Starting this Sunday (November 10), the qualifiers will run three times a week (Monday, Friday and Sunday) with a mix of €10 entry with re-entries and re-buy/add-on tournaments.
With hundreds of tickets up for grabs, the Paddy Power satellites promise to send a small army of players to next year’s Irish Open, taking place March 26–April 6 at the Royal Dublin Society in Dublin.

Qualifiers abound!
The partnership with Paddy Power and PokerStars has been brilliant for Irish Open fans. Well over 150 Paddy Power players won their way into this year’s Main Event including Britain’s Charlie Waters who achieved one of the biggest scores of her live poker career when she was runner-up in The Hendon Mob Championship for €40k. Irish Open regular Jamie Flynn also qualified on Paddy Power and went on to cash in five different side events at this year’s festival.
Overall, more than 200 qualifiers made the money, winning well over €1 million between them. Among them were Brandon Harris, who turned his seat into a €100,000 payday, and Panteleimon Pontos, who earned €77,500 for seventh place.
Alongside PokerStars and Paddy Power, popular sites Betfair and Sky Poker are also part of Flutter Entertainment’s UK and Ireland division and will both be launching online satellites by the end of the year.
Event organiser Paul O’Reilly said: “This year we broke records yet again and that’s thanks largely to the incredible ecosystem created by PokerStars and Paddy Power. More than 1,300 players qualified online for this year’s Main Event so, if you’re thinking of playing the Irish Open, start with an online satellite — it might just be the best investment you ever made!”
The Irish Open, which won Best Standalone Festival at the Global Poker Awards in February and the SiGMA award for Best Live Poker Event in September, is the longest-running No Limit poker tournament in Europe. As well as the €2.5 million guaranteed €1,150 Main Event, next year’s schedule also includes the €1,000,000 guaranteed Mini Irish Open and the €1,000,000 guaranteed Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty which made its debut this year and instantly became the biggest Mystery Bounty ever held in Ireland.
