Congratulations to James O’Brien, who has won the Liam Flood Memorial Trophy, collecting €9,812 for his troubles. The win was extra special for O’Brien, who turned down a deal heads-up, so keen was he to take home the trophy as a big fan of Liam Flood.
The final table was played out boisterously with a lot of fun, Alshanti and JJ Hazan providing much of the amusement and we’re pretty sure every one of the finalists had a good time playing fun poker.
We’ve enjoyed covering it and we think Liam Flood would have loved seeing players having such a great time playing the game he loved.
