Half the Main Event has now gone on their dinner break while the other half trudges on with Level 6 (200/400/400). Day 1c has so far amassed 725 entries, which added to Day 1a’s 436 and Day 1b’s 461 totals 1,622. This is just halfway through the day, with a single re-entry permitted in each flight, turbo Day 1d still to go at 10pm, and registration open right up until the start of Day 2 tomorrow. At this stage we’re fairly confident that this year’s Main Event is going to out-enormous 2019 when 1,807 entries were recorded, and thus become the biggest ever live-action Irish Open.
By the by, 2019 champion Weijie “Jervi” Zheng is among the hopefuls in today’s field.
