The Irish Open is thrilled to announce that the brand new players’ app PokerLens will be available for everyone competing at this year’s festival – for both tournaments and cash games.
For full instructions on how to use PokerLens for the Irish Open, see our dedicated PokerLens page.
PokerLens enables you to set up a profile in advance which is then linked to the long-established registration system KHold’em. All you have to do when you arrive at the event is show your unique profile QR code to get registered. PokerLens aims to massively reduce waiting times at reg desks and help cash game players find a table – playing the variant and stakes they want – without having to queue.
When you register using PokerLens, your ticket – including your table/seat number will be easily viewable in the app. Dealers will have a tablet that shows all players registered to their table – all they have to do is check in the player and give them their chips. When a player busts, the dealer registers it on the tablet which helps keep tables balanced. If you buy in through Luxon Pay, your ticket will be viewable direct in the PokerLens app.
PokerLens, which only launched a few months ago, provides a wealth of information about poker festivals taking place all over the globe. It enables players to see their nearest poker rooms and what’s on offer along with info on scheduled events. The real-time live clock shows what’s going on in particular tournaments and the app also shows resultsfrom previous tournaments.
Irish Open players are strongly advised to download the PokerLens app well in advance and set up their profile. For Apple iOS, click here; for Google Play/Android, click here.
To link with KHold’em, just click the very first tournament listed under Scheduled Tournaments for the Irish Open. It is clearly marked as “LINK POKER LENS PROFILE” with a zero buy-in.
