The 8-Game Championship wrapped up yesterday, but there’s another mixed-game trophy on the Irish Open horizon.
Sunday kicks off the quest for the €350 H.O.R.S.E. Championship. It’s a traditional battleground for limit specialists, whose versatility will be tested in hold’em, O8, Razz, Stud, and Stud 8.
The tournament gets underway at 1 p.m. and late registration will be open through the first eight 30-minute levels. Players are allowed re-entries during that period, should they lose the 30,000 initial stack.
Day 1 will run for 18 levels, or until a nine-handed final table lineup emerges (depending on field size). The winner will hoist the coveted silverware on Monday.
