The tournament rooms have been busy over the last few days at the 2025 Irish Open as more and more players arrive for the second half of the festival.
That means the €250 Mini Irish Open Main Event starting flights start getting bigger too. Yesterday’s Day 1f saw 372 entrants join the contest for what has been the biggest heat so far.
With a €1 million guarantee, it’s no wonder the low-stakes contest attracts hundreds of players each day. And there are plenty of opportunities to join the action — another one coming up at 7 p.m. in Day 1g.
Have a look at the numbers so far:
- 1a: 178 entries, 9 advanced
- 1b: 249 entries, 12 advanced
- 1c: 294 entries, 15 advanced
- 1d: 298 entries, 15 advanced
- 1e: 329 entries, 16 advanced
- 1f: 372 entries, 19 advanced
That’s 1,720 entries and it’s only today that we’re getting past the halfway mark in starting flights (7th of 13).
As has been standard, the session will conclude when the field has dwindled to the top 5%, with around 15% getting paid.
We’ll have live updates ready for you, so stay tuned as we’re about to find out who emerges advancing.
