With the Main Event underway and the Mini running in tandem, even the voluminous RDS hall is showing signs of filling up. There’s so many players packed into here, you can feel the heat, literally, rising off the mass of poker players riffling and plotting their way to riches via their poker skills.
Two players who’ve used this early energy to their advantage in the opening levels are Clint Oldridge who has 56,000 and Steffan Kessler who has just shy of this with 55,000.
We also noticed the ubiquitous presence of Albert Sapiano. Sapiano has been playing poker virtually since its inception, a true fixture of the game, and he’s thrown himself into the throng with typical enthusiasm here in Dublin, playing as much poker as he can squeeze in. Good luck Albert!
