Day 1F of the €1,000,000 guaranteed Mini Irish Open concluded with six minutes left in Level 21 – 19 players progressed to Day 2 and 54 players received a minimum cash. The flight attracted a total of 372 entrants, bringing the total number of entries to 1,720 and increasing the current prize pool to €360,456.

Matthew Micallef of Malta amassed a huge stack of 2,000,000 to top the Day 1F standings. Micaleff, the new overall chip leader, won a crucial pot against Robert Fluereci at the end of play, his top pair holding against Fluereci’s flush draw. He was followed by Ektor Strumi (955,000) and Mohanveer Bhasin (870,000). Galina Kuan (675,000) and Moya Murphy (355,000) were also among the players who progressed.

There was a double elimination on the bubble – Ann Nice and Michael Frisby split a minimum cash, while Elans Faterkins just missed the Day 2 cut.
