From sunbathing by the casino pool to visiting the city\u2019s famous souks and sampling fabulous Moroccan cuisine, Nikolett believes it\u2019s an unbeatable poker destination \u2013 and she can\u2019t wait to get back there in November.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cWhen you arrive at Casino de Marrakech, the vibe just gets you immediately! Cheerful, happy, crazy &#8211; and of course a lot of excitement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Irish Open will be hosting <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/irishpokeropen.com\/marrakech\/\"><strong>its second international stop at Casino de Marrakech<\/strong><\/a><strong> in the Autumn. <\/strong><strong>The six-day festival is taking place from November 10-15 and features a \u20ac500,000 guaranteed Main Event. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The huge scale of Casino de Marrakech means there are numerous places to put poker tables and, at the events Nikolett worked at, they even held the final table next to the swimming pool.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Visiting Marrakech old city<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-54822 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/irishpokeropen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Marrakech-Jemaa_el_fna-square-1-1024x637.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"398\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The old city of Marrakech is only a short walk from the Casino so, despite her busy work schedule, Nikolett still managed to find time to visit the medina and snap up some bargains.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She also loved all the atmosphere of Marrakech\u2019s legendary Jemaa El Fnaa main square. She added: \u201cThe Medina and square are my favourite places. At night, it\u2019s full of local people \u2013 gathering in small groups, playing music, dancing and singing. You can join in or just watch and enjoy the music. It\u2019s really great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nikolett also loved the Casino itself. She said: \u201cIt has a very beautiful garden &#8211; and the food is super tasty. There\u2019s a huge choice. I also loved being by the pool of course!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know the debut Irish Open there will also have the same exciting and crazy atmosphere as in Dublin. If I go again in November, I really hope I\u2019ll have time to visit the Majorelle garden and El-Badi palace in Marrakech &#8211; as well as head back to the Medina of course.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Irish Open will be hosting its second international stop at Casino de Marrakech in the Autumn.
