The PokerStars sponsored 2026 Irish Open is now in full swing, and 46 players will return to Royal Dublin Society at noon today for the final of the €350 NLH 6-Max Championship.

Northern Ireland’s Mark Johnston, who shot to prominence with a third-place finish in the 2024 Irish Open Main Event, is well placed to capture his first Irish Open trophy after bagging up 1,265,000 to sit fourth in the standings at the start of play.

Arian Kashani of the United Kingdom (1,840,000) is the player to catch, leading Swede Anton Hermann (1,375,000) and Jesse Kertland of the United States (1,275,000).

A minimum cash in this year’s edition is worth €530, and players who cashed but failed to make the Day 2 cut included Irish legend Andy Black, PokerStars Open Cannes runner-up Nikolai Mamut and PokerStars Open Malaga champion Manuel Ferrari.

Notable players who remain in the mix include Kevin Killeen (810,000), Marc MacDonnell (445,000), Mark Buckley (430,000) and Dean Hutchison (195,000).

All players have guaranteed themselves a €890 payday, with the huge sum of €45,700 awaiting the eventual champion. The players will return to a 30-minute clock to Level 19, with blinds of 10,000/20,000, with a 20,000 big blind ante.

We will be on the floor from cards in the air until the trophy is lifted, so stay tuned for your coverage of all the action.
