The 2024 Irish Poker Open €1,150 Main Event is down to a final table of nine hopefuls after Konstantinos Vateris hit the rail in 10th place for €29,560.
According to PokerNews reporter Frank Visser, Vatseris got his two big blind “stack” in with queen-seven suited and came one player short of the final table after he ran into the queen-ten suited held by Hiep Ninh.
Meanwhile, British poker hero Stephen Groom will kick off the televised final table with the chip lead closely followed by Hiep Ninh. The final nine players have each locked up a whopping €38,420. The pay jumps are all serious at the final table with tonight’s winner scheduled to take down an Irish Poker Open record-breaking €415,615 top prize.
