If you’ve missed your chance to qualify online for this year’s Irish Open, panic not! There will be tons of satellites at this year’s festival and, if you’re local, there is also a satellite tomorrow night (Tuesday, March 24) at JP Poker in Tallaght.
At the RDS
In addition to 17 satellites for the €2.5 million guaranteed Main Event, we are also holding satellites for the €1 million guaranteed Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty and ALL the High Roller tournaments.
All the live satellites at the RDS will be “milestone” satellites which award seats as soon as you reach a nominated chip stack size – either 50,000 or 100,000, depending on the buy-in. All the satellites give players a 10,000 starting stack. See the schedule for full details.
Main Event satellites
There are a total of 17 live Main Event satellites taking place between March 29 and April 3.
For the Main Event, the satellite buy-ins are either €140 for a 100,000 milestone satellite, or €255 for a 50,000 milestone.
For those who like to leave things until the last minute (!), there are even three live satellites on April 3, the day of the final Main Event start flight: two 15-minute turbo satellites starting at 2pm (100k milestone) and 4pm (50k milestone) plus a final €255, 50k milestone hyper turbo at 6pm featuring 10-minute levels.
The final Day 1e Main Event starting flight is at 8pm on April 3 with late reg open until midnight.
Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty
We’re going big on satellites for the €1 million guaranteed Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty this year, with a total of 55 seats guaranteed across eight scheduled tournaments from March 26 to March 28. Again, these are milestone satellites with 50k or 100k targets depending on the buy-in.
High Rollers
€10k Super High Roller: If you’re itching to compete in the Irish Open’s first-ever €10k Super High Roller, then mark 1pm, April 1 in your diary. We’re holding a €1,050 satellite with three seats guaranteed! (The €10k starts at the same time, with late reg open until 9pm.)
Cuatro High Rollers: Our new Cuatro €3k High Rollers come with their own fleet of dedicated €650 buy-in satellites. There are satellites for the Cuatro €3k PLO High Roller on March 26 and March 27 and the Cuatro €3k NLH High Roller on March 29. All with five seats guaranteed.
€5k NLH High Roller: On March 31, there’s a €550 satellite for the €5k High Roller starting at 1pm. Five seats guaranteed. (The €5k itself starts at 2pm with late reg open until 22.10.)
€3k NLH High Roller: On April 4, there is a €650 satellite for the €3k High Roller starting at 1pm. Five seats guaranteed. (The €3k starts at 4pm with late reg open until the start of Day 2 at noon.)
€5k PLO High Roller: On March 30, there is a €550 satellite for the €5k PLO High Roller starting at 1pm. One seat guaranteed. The target event starts at 2pm with late reg open until 22.10.
Main Event satellite at JP Poker
Tomorrow night’s €120 buy-in Main Event satellite at JP Poker comes with 5 x €1,150 seats guaranteed. It kicks off at 7pm with late reg open until 10pm and unlimited re-entries. All players receive a starting stack of 25,000 chips – with an Early Bird bonus of 2,500 chips for players arriving within 30 minutes of the tournament start at 7pm. The tournament features a €5 dealer add-on for an extra 5,000 chips.
