The first break of Event #11 Mixed 8-Game Championship is currently underway and the tournament with a €350 buy-in has seen a very healthy start with nearly three digit runners. So far, there are 94 entries with 90 players remaining and they have completed the first four levels to enjoy the first 20-minute break.
Some notables in the field include Andy Black, Barny Boatman, Andreas Froehli, Marcel Vonk, and Georgina “GJReggie” James in the mix. Current chip leader appears to be Zhong Liao, who is the only player to have already more than doubled his 30,000 starting stack.
Among the four casualties of the early stages were Mick Graydon, Gal Itkin, and William Mitchell.
