Shamil Patel won a small pot to pull away by a few big blinds and then faced a button raise to 30,000 by Klemens Roiter. He repotted to 90,000 and Roiter called. After the flop, Patel potted for 190,000 and Roiter called.
Patel checked the on the turn and Roiter asked for the size of the pot, which was 570,000. He then moved all-in for around 390,000 and Patel snap-called.

Patel had turned the nut straight but needed to dodge some outs of Roiter to the superior straight. He did so with the river and the stacks were counted. Roiter was covered and bowed out in second place.
The Austrian had one bounty to pull and hit the best possible envelope worth €24,648, taking his total earnings from the event to €40,548, while all other four available bounty prizes went to the eventual champion Patel.
