Kevin Towey had just a few big blinds left after the break. He managed to double his stack after calling Helena Connolly’s small blind shove in the big blind. Towey paired his king on the turn to pull ahead and double his stack.
A couple of hands later, Michael Healy raised to 50,000 from middle position and Towey moved all in from the big blind for 140,000. Healy made the call with the covering stack and players flipped their cards.

Towey’s friend at the table called out for his seven, but it came too little too late as the board ran out to give both players a set. Healy won the pot with a set of tens and Healy was eliminated in 15th place for €580.
