Vanessa Kade went on a tear late in the day, to finish as the day’s clear chip leader. The Candian pro bagged up a whopping 3,450,000 — well over double that of anyone else in the field.
Another nine-hour day in the Mini Main, saw 239 players — the most of any flight thus far — whittled down to just 16, who will return for day two. The top 47 all received something in return for their hard work, and those than missed out on qualification, can at least console themselves that plenty more opportunities remain for them to try again.
