Sabahudin Jusic is a talented guy. He represented Croatia at handball, where he won 4 Golds at the Deaflympics. He then progressed to table tennis but says this is just for fun — leaving the serious stuff for the younger guys coming through.

He clearly takes his poker seriously though, and gave a very good account of himself over the last two days, before finally succumbing in fourth place, for a total of €560.

The Board was showing    when Sabahudin Jusic and Ueli Munoz got all the chips in the middle — with Munoz covering.

Sabahudin Jusic:

Ueli Munoz:

Jusic had turned a straight against Munoz’s flopped two pair but another cruel river dashed his hopes as the brought in a full house for Munoz to send Jusic to the rail.

Munoz was still stacking chips several minutes later, repeatedly crossing himself in mock relief. Jusic was sanguine about the bust-out saying he has had a wonderful experience at the Irish Open and will definitely return in 2026. Only, next time he will bring some extra cash so he can play a few more events.
