Checking back in on Terence Jordon’s table, we find him taking another scalp, this time that of short stack preflop shover Robert Kaggerud. Jordon had raised on the button to 5,500 and Kaggerud had moved all in for 22,000. Jordon looked at his hand, announced, “I can’t fold anyway,” and made the call with Kc 7s.
Kaggerud had a live Qs 5s, and hit the Qc 4h 7d flop harder than Jordon. The turn was the Jd but the river a third seven – the 7h. Jordon took the pot and his stack is now around 355,000.
