A huge roster of online satellites is about to unleash on iPoker for the 2024 Irish Poker Open.

Feeder satellites – including daily freebuys – will get underway next Monday (January 8) across nearly 20 sites on the iPoker network. Players can choose to work their way up through the various steps or buy in direct to the seat-only and package qualifiers.

Seat-only qualifiers are taking place five nights a week – Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays – with buy-ins of either €50 or €100. iPoker is guaranteeing 70 seats during the satellite period which runs until Sunday, March 10 – just two weeks before the 2024 festival kicks off in Dublin. Sundays will also feature a €150 buy-in qualifier offering a €2,250 prize package – the €1,150 Main Event buy-in plus €1,100 spending money. A total of 30 prize packages are guaranteed overall.

The satellites will be running right across the iPoker network including Bet365, Betfair, Betfred, Betsson, Betsafe, Gut, Nordicbet, Boyle Sports, Champion Poker, Coolbet, Grosvenor Poker, Holland Casino, Meridianbet, NetBet, Novibet, Paddy Power, Paf, Redstar and Svenska Spel.

The launch of satellites on the iPoker network means players from all over Europe and beyond now have the chance to qualify for the 2024 Main Event for just a few euros.

The Irish Open is the longest-running No Limit Hold’em tournament in the world outside of Vegas and is taking place from March 25 to April 1, 2024, at the historic Royal Dublin Society. For the second year running, the Irish Open has also teamed up with industry giants PokerStars and Paddy Power to provide players with a multitude of ways in which to qualify online: the Paddy Power satellites started in November while PokerStars launched their satellite schedule last month.

Last year’s record-breaking Main Event attracted a total of 2,491 entries creating a guarantee-busting €2,428,725 prize pool. More than 620 players won their seats online including champion David Docherty who qualified on PokerStars and won €365,000. The huge number of satellites taking place on the iPoker network, Paddy Power and PokerStars will ensure players have more chances to win their entry into the 2024 Irish Open than ever before.
