The number of players winning their way to this year’s Irish Open on the iPoker network is already going through the roof!

To date, more than 300 have won a €2,250 package for the €1 million guaranteed Main Event with another 200+ winning a €1,150 seat. But that’s not all – the iPoker network is also hosting a ton of satellites for the €1 million guaranteed Mini Irish Open with more than 100 players locking up their €250 seat. The  Mini, which features 14 starting flights this year, is the largest low buy-in tournament in Europe!

When the satellites were first launched last November, it was announced that a total of 150 x €1,150 Main Event seats and 200 x €2,250 packages were up for grabs. But there’s been a veritable gold rush since then. In February, iPoker players broke records with 26 players winning a package in a single night and there’s been no let-up in demand. The total number of package winners has now climbed past 300, with each package including a €1,150 Main Event seat plus €1,100 for expenses.

The iPoker satellites started a good two months earlier than in previous years and will run until March 24, only a couple of days before this year’s festival kicks off at the RDS.

How to win a €2,250 Irish Open Main Event package!

The €2,250 package satellites follow a two-step qualification path starting with daily €150 “Day 1” flights which award tickets into the Sunday qualifiers. A total of 15 x  €2,250 packages are guaranteed but every week players are blowing the guarantee right out of the water.

There are no direct buy-ins for the Day 2 – you must win your way into the Sunday events via the Day 1 qualifiers. Heaps of feeder satellites – into both the seat-only and package qualifiers – are on offer every day. The final satellite on March 25 – the night before the festival begins – comes with a 25-seat guarantee.

Rocking on Paddy Power

UK and Ireland players have shown a phenomenal appetite for satellites hosted by Irish Open headline sponsor Paddy Power. Nearly 50 x €2,250 packages have been won on the site so far with another 75+ Irish Open Main Event seats also secured. Grosvenor Poker players aren’t too far behind either; nearly 60 have either a Mini seat or a Main Event seat and another 40 have snagged a €2,250 package. Players on Betfair, Sky Poker, Champion Poker and Coolbet are also snapping up seats and packages.

Win a seat for €50!

The €50 Main Event seat-only qualifiers are running five times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) with a mix of re-entry tournaments and re-buy/add-on events.

Mini Irish Open
The iPoker network is hosting qualifiers for the Mini Irish Open three times a week. There’s a mix of €10 entry with re-entries and re-buy/add-on tournaments.

Last year, hundreds of players won seats and packages for the Main Event and the Mini via iPoker sites. Across the board, more than 200 packages and 160 Main Event seats were awarded along with 160 seats for the Mini.

Notable 2025 iPoker qualifiers

Among last year’s stand-out iPoker qualifiers was Norwegian pro Jon Kyte who made four final tables plus a further two cashes. His total haul at the 2025 Irish Open festival was more than €40k including €14k for finishing third in the High Roller Mystery Bounty.
