We’ve had two eliminations at the final table, leaving us 7 handed.
David Hudson went courtesy of a battle with Jacob Stone – raising then shoving with 8’s when Stone had re-raised him – only to run into pocket jacks. Hudson couldn’t overturn the 20-80 equity disadvantage and collects €2,770 for his final table ninth place berth.
Thomas Gallacher then gave Dmitri Dudakov a bit of a harsh beat – a cold deck to start with as he held pocket Queens to Dudakov’s Aces and no surprise the pair got their chips in preflop.
A Queen on the turn though and his seemingly bright prospects of a double were dimmed and finally extinguished on a brick river. Dudakov out in 8th place for €3,555.
That leaves Thomas Gallacher (also a beneficiary of a fortunate double through Lukacs Bulcsu AJ v AK) with a big stack of 3.5M+. Also going well is Jacob Stone, who apart from KO’ing Hudson, also managed a double up at the hands of Thiago Azevedo, when his pocket eights bested Azevedo’s big slick for a double to 2.8 million…
