Mohamed Namir raised from late position and Helena Connolly moved all in from the big blind with a relatively short stack. Namir called and players turned their cards.

The board ran out and Namir turned a straight. The table let out a collective groan and commiserated Connolly, who’s clearly a crowd favourite here at the Irish Open.
Connolly, still smiling, was eliminated from the tournament in 8th place for €1,070.
