When this reporter saw the name of David Foggin in the counts at the start of the day, he wondered whether it might be any relation of Newcasle pro, Marc Foggin.
After spotting Marc on the rail, he confirmed David is indeed his father, and this tournament represents David’s first ever live cash. He is a relative poker newcomer, Marc managing to persuade him to come over to Dublin to play a couple of tournaments, and he has apparently well and truly caught the poker bug, loving every second of it.
