Spraggy completed and was called by Kevin Fitzpatrick as well as Andreas Froehli, as they headed three ways to fourth street. Fitzpatrick bet his lead and Froehli folded while Spraggy called. The next bet on fifth did the trick for Fitzpatrick, though, as Spraggy folded with a “too scary”.
Fitzpatrick, from Ireland and not Newcastle, flashed a four in the hole and chipped up to around 60,000 just ahead of the PokerStars ambassador.
