The plan was always to play down to the final table of eight in the €1,000,000 GTD €1,150 Irish Open Main Event, or until 3am. Those who had their money on the final being set have lost it: two full tables of eight start play once again at 1pm. Once the final table is reached, it’ll be live streamed until a new champion is crowned and awarded the €365,000 first prize. The guarantee, it needn’t be repeated (but is going to be) has been smashed – 2,491 entries have brought the prizepool up to over €2.4 million.
