The players have had their nosebags and have had a trot in the parade ring, it’s now time to see who is the biggest stallion of them all as we head into final day coverage of the €350 Irish Open Horse Championships.

A total of 147 players sat down on Day 1, and only fifteen players managed to bag up last night to play for the top prize of €11,000 and the trophy at the Royal Dublin Society.

Among the runners and riders in contention for the trophy is overnight chip leader Danielle Noja from Australia. Noja is on the verge of hitting $1,000,000 in lifetime earnings and has plenty of experience in pot-limit Omaha and HORSE competitions. In 2022 he won the £1,000 HORSE tournament at EPT London for £16,700.

Hot on his heels in second place is Pokerstars Ambassador Sebastian “peace&loove” Huber. The German who resides in Austria showcases mixed games on his live stream and would love to take down his first live major title.

In third place is Wantao Tang of England who has secured his first ever non-holdem cash. Among the players in the back of the pack are poker pro and commentator Jay Harwood, the flamboyant Dutchman Bouwe Claushuis and the giant Alexander Rivzi.

Cards will be in the air at midday local time and blinds will increase every 30 minutes. The Irish Open will be tracking the progress as we go from fifteen to one and neither William G Stewart or Sandi Toksvig are in sight!
