Come for the poker, stay for the 'Craic'

Twelve days of full-on fun and entertainment

Don’t miss the 2026 Craic Den!

For many players at the Irish Open, it’s ALL about the “craic”. The award-winning Dublin festival is world-renowned for its non-stop roster of fun, games, competitions and live music  – and for delivering the kind of nights that players talk about long after the last card is dealt.

Bust another tournament? Need somewhere to drown your sorrows? Just head for The Craic Den! The Craic Den is the beating heart of the Irish Open and this year we’re delivering an entertainment schedule so stacked, you may struggle to find time to play poker at all.

The 2026 Irish Open festival is taking place from March 26 to April 6 at the Royal Dublin Society and, every single night, the Craic Den will be providing a packed line-up of live music, games and promotions designed to keep the party going well into the small hours.

Highlights for 2026 include Deaf comedian John Smith on March 28, Spraggy’s Quid Games on April 1 and our 70s theme fancy dress competition at the Players Party on the penultimate night.

We also have Beer Pong, Shuffleboard, Corn Hole, Play Your Cards Right, Banging Bingo, Karaoke and Lip Sync battles along with our ever-popular Race and Casino Nights. New for 2026 are I’m a Poker Player, Get Me Out of Here and Balls in the Air! Plenty of live music as always plus nightly Happy Hours!

The Craic Den is also the perfect place to chill during the day with Play Stations, chess boards and foosball tables – as well as daily sports on the big LED screen.

See you in the Craic Den!!!
