DTD to run live super satellite for this year’s Irish Open

Dusk Till Dawn, one of the UK’s leading poker venues, is hosting its first ever satellite for the Irish Open. The £50 + £10 qualifier in early March comes with ten £1,500 packages guaranteed for this year’s €1,150 Main Event.

The Irish Poker Open is the longest-running No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament in Europe and is taking place this year from March 25 to April 1 at the Royal Dublin Society,

Dusk Till Dawn was launched in 2007 by avid poker player Rob Yong. Since then, it has gained a solid reputation as one of the best card rooms in the UK and regularly hosts world-class events such as the WPT Prime, WSOPC, the UKIPT, EAPT and the APAT World Championship of Amateur Poker.

The Dusk Till Dawn qualifier is taking place on Sunday, March 3. Kicking off at 2pm, it’s being held at the same time as Day 2 of the club’s popular DTD100 event so is certain to draw a large number of entries. The package covers the €1,150 Irish Open Main Event buy-in plus cash towards expenses.

Irish Open organiser Paul O’Reilly said: “We are delighted that Dusk Till Dawn is joining us this year as an Official Partner. Second to Ireland, British players are the largest cohort from any other nation and Brits actually accounted for a fifth of the field at last year’s record-breaking event. Dusk Till Dawn is the perfect venue for a super satellite in the UK and we look forward to welcoming a lot of new faces at this year’s festival.”
