David Dean just fell foul of what was a pretty strong call from Terje Sirnes.
We joined the hand on the river of a 2d 2c 7s Kd 9h board, Dean having jammed all-in for just under 10k. Three players were still to act but once Terje Sirnes threw out two 5k chips to indicate a call, the others lost interest and threw their cards muck-wards.
Showdown.
Sirnes showed 5d 5s….which was good.
Dean raised his eyebrows, pushed his cards toward the dealer unseen and shuffled away from the tables. Sirnes meanwhile re-configured his stack with its newly-acquired bounty and moves to around 36k.
