Day 2 of the Main Event Concludes with 160 Remaining

Day 2 of the €1,150 Irish Open 2023 Main Event has come to an end, having whittled down the record-breaking 2,491-strong field to just 160 (to be fair, some of the whittling happened over the four starting flights). Everyone returning for Day 3 tomorrow at noon is guaranteed at least €2,990, but of course that’s not the prize anybody wants. Carl Shaw is overnight chip leader with 1,700,000 (average stack 467,000).
