After roughly nine hours of play, Day 1d of the €250 Mini Main Event comes to an end. Another absolute thrilling day in the books!
The fourth flight for what is set to be the biggest tournament during the 2025 Irish Poker Open (in terms of entries) saw 15 players bagging their chips for Day 2. These made up the 15 % of the total number of 298 entries. What’s more, players who finished in places 16-39 all were in the money and received some euros before leaving the tournament.
These are the lucky 15 who moved on:

1 | John Hardie | 1,070,000 |
2 | James Wynne | 980,000 |
3 | Daniel Tierney | 885,000 |

5 | Robert Ashelm | 780,000 |

Make sure to re-visit the live blog to take part of all the action. One of the highlights is, of course, when the bubble burst in the most dramatic fashion when three players were all in.
With today’s flight in the books, we’re standing at roughly 1,000 entries in the Mini Main Event so far. Tomorrow, it’s time again; Day 1e is scheduled to commence at 18:00. It’s time for the main week of the Irish Poker Open, and you’d better believe the Royal Dublin Society will be rockin’ all the way until the last hand has been dealt.
We thank you all for following along with the action today, and we’ll see you again soon.
