Day 1C, the third flight of the €250 Mini Main Event, is set to commence at 6 p.m. local time, pulling in players from Ireland and beyond for what is set to be one of the biggest tournaments of the series in terms of both number of flights and entry numbers.

With a €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, there’s everything to play for and, if last year’s field is anything to go by, this one is going to be massive.

The 2024 Mini Irish Open attracted 5,320 entries, setting the record for the biggest Irish live poker event in history. Following a seven-way deal, Joseph Carey of Ireland emerged victorious and claimed €43,300 and the trophy after a seven-way deal.

The top 15% players from Day 1C will make the money and the flight will continue until just 5% of the field are left standing, who will make it through to Day 2.

Starting stacks are 30,000 and blind levels are 20-minutes long with breaks every five or six levels. Each flight offers unlimited re-entries and late registration remains open until the end of Level 10.

Day 1A of the Mini Main Event attracted a total of 178 entries, with 27 players making the money and nine players advancing. Cristina Jugastru of Romania bagged the lead with 1,160,000 chips. On Day 1B, Vilius Kadelskas of Lithuania bagged the chip lead of 1,575,000 and is the player to beat at the top of the standings so far.
