Entries: 78/1,067
Prize Pool: €320,847
The €350 Hendon Mob Championship has been a popular regular fixture on the Irish Open schedule for some time, and this year’s figures smashed records as 1,067 entrants were obtained to create a €320,847 prize pool, topping the €268,398 shared in the 2025 edition.
After 18 30-minute levels of play in Day 1, only 78 players remain in contention for the huge first-place prize of €53,970, with newly-minted PokerStars ambassador David Lappin (330,000) in the mix for his first Irish Open trophy. Cameron Sinclair of the United Kingdom (1,205,000) leads the way at the start of play, after being the only player to bag a seven-figure stack, while Irish duo John Campell (940,000) and Oliver Boyce (890,000) complete the podium places.
A total of 159 places were paid, with a minimum cash worth €520, while all remaining players have guaranteed themselves a €790 payday. Notable names who cashed but did not make the Day 2 cut include Jamie Flynn, Kimmo Kurko, Stan Van Dijk, Gary Whitehead and Nikolai Mamut.
