The new level was barely three minutes old when David Docherty limped the button. Alejandro Romero raised to 1,000 and then snap-called when Docherty shoved for 8,500.

The flop saw Docherty grin “we can’t have a boring ten on the turn, it gotta be interesting”. Romero smiled back and replied “I’d like a ten”.
A split pot was possible with the turn but the river knocked out Docherty. He takes home €3,860 and can now fully focus on defending his Irish Open Main Event title.
