PLO events at the 2025 Irish Open have drawn big fields, and the €1,150 8-Max is shaping up to be another heavily contested tournament.
Day 1 drew 234 entries, and late reg remains open until noon when the next stage gets underway.
At least 87 players will be in action as they’d bagged last night, but the field is likely to grow further — Tuesday’s NLH showed proved that tere’s demand for late entrance with more than 70 players lined up.
Entering the Day 2 with with a chip-leading stack is David Lichentin (439,000), followed by Ahmad Al Shanti (387,500) and Aleksi Lindholm (372,500).
HORSE champ Dongwoo Ko and last year’s Main Event winner Tero Laurila also navigated through the first 10 levels, so they’ll be in to battle for another Irish Open trophy.
