While still one of the newer formats, mystery bounties have quickly gained popularity at live events around the world. The 2025 Irish Open schedule features a handful of these tournaments, including today’s €550 NLH single-day tournament — running from 2 p.m. local time.
Here at the Irish Open, the chest box makes its appearance after the bubble. Prize money is divided evenly between the regular payout structure, based on finishing position, and the envelopes. In fact, the mystery prizes mirror the payouts 1:1.
So it means as soon as you knock out somebody in the money, you will be allowed to draw a bounty prize. One of them will be equal to the first-place cash.
That alone is very enticing. Factor in the fast-paced 25-minute structure, and it gets even more intense. This semi-turbo contest is bound for some big bluffs, hero calls and chip swings.
