Yen-Jung Chen tops the field heading into Day 2 of the Irish Open Deaf Championship. The Canadian’s stack of 254,500 puts him comfortably ahead of Starny Hoang, currently in second with 198,000.
Day 1B continued in similar fashion to the previous flight, with chips flying throughout the levels. The 16 entries where whittled down to three in short order, meaning five players make the money and will return tomorrow to play down to winner.
The event has attracted players from far and wide. A total of nine nations were represented, including players from as far afield as Canada and Australia.
The full list of the five remaining combatants is as follows:
Yen-Jung Chen (Canada): 254,500
Starny Hoang (Switzerland): 198,000
Sabahudin Jusic (Croatia): 192,000
Manuel Del Olmo (Spain): 167,000
Darren Chow (Canada): 112,500
