Just prior to the break, Ken Chambers sent two of his tablemates packing, finding pocket aces in a three-way allin coup involving kings and ace-queen in the hands of his cold-decked opponents.
There was a queen on the flop which raised a smidgen of hope for one of his opponents but the board bricked out to leave Chambers dragging a pot close to the 100k mark. He had the other two covered so they collected their things and vacated to melt into the night.
“He’ll be table captain now!” observed an onlooker – Chambers silently scooping up the rest of the chips, a small smile spreading across his face as he scorched up the leaderboard…
