Dermot Blain (pictured earlier giving Max Silver a staredown) has knocked out Barton Fizgerald, who got the last of his chips (it looked like under 20,000) all in preflop in good shape with Qh Qd vs. Blain’s As Qs. An ace popped out on the flop, however, and put an end to Fitzgerald’s Irish Open evening dreams. Blain gave him a sympathetic word; we all know how that feels.
