The last time the Irish Open took place here in 2019, the Main Event drew a record 1,807 entries. Today we are looking at smashing that record. Day 1a’s 436 entries and 1b’s 461 took us up to 897; we currently have 813 entries in Day 1c, and with 105 and rising in Day 1d, we’ve already exceeded the 2019 total. Registration remains open right up until the start of play tomorrow in what is now officially the biggest ever live action* Irish Open.
*2020’s online version drew 2,945 which we’re very unlikely to beat here, but online really isn’t the same. It’s good to be back.
