With his elimination of Jacob Hamed in 2nd place, Andrew Norman is now crowned the winner of the €1,150 PLO Mystery Bounty 8-Max. For his outstanding performance, he takes home €32,680; €15,980 for finishing 1st, and then another €16,700 from bounties.
When four players remained, they made a deal to lock up €10,000 each and keep on playing for another €10,000 (and the mystery envelopes still in play). When Norman and Hamed were heads-up and even in stacks, they were able to chop the remaining €10,000 in the middle as well.
It’s Norman’s biggest live cash according to his Hendon Mob. The biggest one? Well, that came roughly a week ago, when he finished 2nd in the €1,150 PLO 7-Max here at the Irish Poker Open 2026. What a week the recreational snooker player is having.
That concludes today’s live coverage; thanks to everyone who’s been following along with the action. Tomorrow, this Swedish live reporter will wrap up this year’s Irish Poker Open by covering the ever-so prestigious €150 Mini Main Event.
