Jarlath Kilgallon (pictured left) has extended his chip lead (although with the blinds at 80k/160k, a single double can change everything) after tangling – successfully – with Marius Ignat.
Who made the initial raise to 330,000, I’m afraid we can’t say, but Kilgallon was in position and bet 425,000 when Ignat checked to him on a flop of As 9d 7d. Ignat called.
The turn brought the Jd and a meticulous self-count from Ignat (1.5 million) before he bet just over a third of his stack – 575,000.
Kilgallon set Ignat all in and patiently waited through another stack-examining period, collecting the chunky pot without showdown.
